On Trinity Sunday, 12 June, we are delighted that the Archbishop of York, the Most Reverend and Right Honourable Stephen Cottrell, will be our preacher.
Stephen Cottrell is the 98th Archbishop of York. He has previously served as the Bishop of Chelmsford, Bishop of Reading, Canon Pastor at Peterborough Cathedral and Diocesan Missioner for the Diocese of Wakefield, and he served in parishes in South London and Chichester.
A well-known writer and speaker on evangelism, his latest book, Dear England, was published in March and is available from the Cathedral’s gift shop. It addressess issues about how the Christian faith can shape the life of our nation.
This service includes music sung by the Cathedral Choir and will be followed by a drinks reception.
