Carlisle Farmers' Market
Supporting local artisan producers, crafters and artists Carlisle's monthly farmers' market can be found in the grounds of the Cathedral on the first Saturday every month, from 9am to 2pm.
Join us on the first Saturday every month (except January) for Carlisle Farmers’ Market.
In the historic grounds of the Cathedral you’ll find everything from homemade goodies to artisan crafts, charity stalls and gifts for all occasions. All of the stallholders are local producers and makers so you know you’re getting top quality produce and lovingly handmade gifts whilst supporting the local economy and community.
Regular attendees include Hallsford Farm for beautiful beef, lamb and pork direct from their farm at nearby Hethersgill; hearty pies from Pie Demand; handmade breads and cakes from Warwick Bridge Corn Mill; delicious treats and homemade preserves from Christine’s Kitchen; scented candles, unique art and crafts, plus locally-made gin, beer and cheese!
But new traders join us each month so be sure to check out the market next time to see what’s new, or to pick up an old favourite.
