Monday 26 January is International Kawasaki Disease Awareness Day and the Cathedral floodlights will be switched to red in support of Societi, the U.K. Foundation for Kawasaki Disease and to raise awareness of this condition.
Kawasaki Disease is the leading case of acquired heart disease in UK children, it’s increasingly common and maybe 1,500 or more children will be affected in 2026.
