Music plays an integral part in the life of the Cathedral, and we have a varied programme of live music events taking place throughout the year, from choral and classical, to jazz, folk, rock and pop.
Concerts
We host concerts in the Cathedral and in the Fratry Hall, from local musicians to international tours. We advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment. Tickets can be booked for all concerts via the Book Tickets page.
Weekly Recital Series
Our weekly recitals take place on most Wednesday afternoons throughout the year. These short (approx 45 minutes – 1 hour) recitals are free to attend and booking is not required. A collection is taken at the end of each recital to support the artists and the ongoing programme and we encourage audience members to pay what they can.
Choirs
The Cathedral’s choirs sing six days a week during term time, and we also welcome visiting choirs throughout the year – entry to these services is always free, and booking is not required. Click here to see the choir schedule and Worship List.
