Suicide Alertness Bitesize Training
This year, working in partnership with the Diocese of Carlisle, Every Life Matters, The University of Cumbria and LOUDFence, we will be focusing on the tragic reality of suicide within Cumbria during Safeguarding Season (Monday 10 November - Friday 21 November). Free training will be provided, please read more below.
Free 1 hour bitesize training sessions will be delivered by Every Life Matters, with both in person and online options available.
In Person: Wednesday 12 and Thursday 20 November, at 9.15am, 11.15am, 1.15pm and 3.15pm
Online: Monday 10 and Tuesday 18 November, at 9.15am, 11.15am, 1.15pm and 3.15pm
Spaces are limited; advance booking is essential to guarantee your place.
Suicide is a sensitive subject. We ask that participants have identified a suitable person to talk with during or after the training should the need arise. If not be aware Samaritans are free to talk to 24/7 on 116 123.
