Two new exhibitions are coming to the Cathedral this summer!
First of all we welcome back the Carlisle and Cumbrian Artists, now exhibiting at the Fratry Hall for their 53rd year – amazing! This group of artists represent all backgrounds and disciplines and their work is always great to see. They will be open for visitors from Sunday 7 to Sunday 21 August, from 10am to 4pm.
Hot on their heels will be Synergy, a new exhibition of work by Carlisle Contemporary Arts, in conjunction with StArt. Covering all media, from painting and photography to ceramics and sculpture, this will be a feast for the eyes. Catch them for this short run from Friday 26 August to Wednesday 7 September.
Both exhibitions are free entry and most of the work will be for sale so come along and find a treat for yourself, or someone special.
