Join us for lots of family-friendly activities this Summer Holidays
There are lots of activities to take part in this August at the Cathedral. We are keeping numbers limited to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience, booking is essential.
Felting – Wednesday 4th August& Thursday 12th August, 10:30-12:00 & 13:30-15:00
In this artist facilitated felting session you will make your own felt bookmark inspired by our stained glass windows. This activity is suitable for beginners children over the age of 7 years old. £10 per participant
Stained Glass Windows – Friday 6th August, 10:00-10:45, 11:45-12:30 & 14:00-14:45
Inspired by our stunning Stained Glass windows in the Cathedral design and create your own Stained Glass from colourful tissue paper. This activity is suitable for all ages and abilities. £4 per table
Watercolour in the Precinct- Tuesday 10th August & Thursday 26th August, 10:00-11:00, 12:00-13:00 & 14:00-15:00
This self-led activity allows you to hire a watercolour pack with all the materials you need to create your own watercolour artwork either in the Undercroft or sat outside in the precinct. £5 per pack
Mosaics- Friday 20th August, 11:00-12:00 & 14:00-15:00
Design and make your own mosaic tiles. £5-£10

Entry to the Cathedral is free and everyone is welcome to visit.
We have free trails in the welcome centre for families to do around the Cathedral and Precinct.
Our Cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating and we have lots of grassy areas to sit and enjoy the sunshine.
