It was wonderful to welcome our second visitor from The Pommie Pilgrimage to Carlisle Cathedral recently.
Kate completed an amazing 119 miles from Blackburn Cathedral to Carlisle Cathedral, and is a member of “The Pommie Pilgrims” (named for the sound of the village band). They are creating a unique network of footsteps linking All Saints Church, Youlgrave, in the Peak District, with all forty-two Anglican Cathedrals in England. The walkers plan to raise £42,000 towards All Saints’ renovations.
