Visitor Information

The cathedral is open daily for peace, quiet, prayer and reflection. Whether you are of this faith, another faith or no faith at all, we would be delighted if you chose our building as an oasis in a noisy world.

We are open:
Monday-Friday: 7.30am to 6.30pm
Saturday-Sunday: 7.30am to 5pm

“Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.”

Entry to the Cathedral is free…

But, we rely on the financial support of our visitors and congregations. Please support us if you can; we suggest a donation of £4 per adult visitor, but please give whatever you can: every donation is important to us as it helps us maintain our work in the community and keep the doors of this magnificent building open for this generation and those to come.

If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember that using a Gift Aid envelope will increase your donation at no extra cost.

Whatever you give, we thank you for your support.

Please note that for some events and exhibitions there may be an entrance fee. This will be noted on the online calendar where relevant.
