Development Director (Full time, 3 year fixed term contract, £50,000 salary)
The Chapter of Carlisle Cathedral is looking to appoint an energetic and experienced Development Director to lead on income generation at an exciting and ambitious phase of development for the Cathedral. The new role of Development Director is a key senior member of the team, responsible for leading the development and implementation of an income generation strategy. Head of People (30 hours per week, £33,600 salary)
This is a new and pivotal role, with responsibility for all aspects of people leadership including HR strategy, recruitment, performance and wellbeing, as well as the smooth running of office operations. You will manage a small HR and admin team and work across departments to ensure all staff and volunteers are supported to thrive. We’re looking for someone with strong HR expertise, great interpersonal skills, and a passion for supporting people in a values-led environment. Closing date: Thursday 17 July 2025.
